Free Tickets to Bob Ross Painting Exhibit Available Now

Fans of Bob Ross, an American painter who is best known for his PBS TV program “The Joy of Painting,” will be able to see the largest collection of his artwork ever displayed on the East Coast this September in Purcellville.

Twenty-four paintings will be on display at Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center, located at 36441 Blueridge View Lane, from Sept. 10 to Oct. 15. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and the exhibit will also be open three weekends — Sept. 28-29, Oct. 5-6 and Oct. 12-13.

Admission is free. However, daily tickets will be required and the maximum number of daily admissions is limited. Tickets will be available beginning Aug. 9 at franklinparkartscenter.org.
